Lucky second home owners, your housing tax could go up next year. Since this summer, the list of municipalities that can vote on the supplement has been expanded. Until now, only 1,434 cities, located in cities of over 50,000 inhabitants where housing was particularly difficult, had the opportunity to vote for this increase, ranging from 5 to 60%. But since the 2023 Finance Bill, this tax tool has been granted to cities with fewer than 50,000 souls.
